Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.

  • Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with the care team.

  • Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their condition.

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

  • Drive clients to appointments or community activities as needed.

  • Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.

  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to home care.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a care or similar environment is desirable but not essential.

  • Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members.

  • Familiarity with care plans and the ability to understand individual needs is advantageous.

  • A valid driving licence is required for transporting clients when necessary.

  • Proficiency in IT systems will be beneficial for maintaining records and documentation.
